Temporary

Syd

Temporary...

Their shouldn't be such a word

Everything is temporary
Time is borrowed
Temporary joy
Excitement & sorrow

Liberties we take
False promises made
The granted taking of tomorrow

Infinite
Is finite
The dark void we dwell
The cosmos
Heaven
Hell
The double edged sword of sunlight

Gluttony
Fammin
War
Discrimination

The same biology
Separated by arms & technology
The forgotten miracle
That is creation

Temporary...

Every problem
Has a solution
If only we keep calm

For we are nothing but locusts
Blocking light
From the dense thickets of our swarm
