Matthew

Karoline

You are everything.
Each day I wake
I choose you,
Not from necessity,
Not from fear,
I choose you because
I did not know
That wishing was
To wish for you.

You are the one
I want to tell the funny story to.
You are the one
I want holding me at the end
Of an awful day.
You are the one
Who renders my flaws irrelevant
When you love me.

I live each day
By the moment.
Not a good thing,
I am frequently terrified.
But you are the one
Who proves to me everyday
That good exists,
That love exists,
That the world can be
An amazing place.
When we are together.
I love you.
