Run

Used

It feels like a dream that I can’t wake up from

But it’s not

Its reality finally hitting me

I feel the smoke fill my lungs as I run through the dust of my falling world

I run as flood of tears demands my attention

Gasping trying to clearing my lungs of the dust filled memories, to only swallow more as I take my next  breath

I have to keep running

Run from the mess I’ve caused, run from the memories that follow, run from fear of stopping

Run from the people who can’t understand, run from the people who do, run so you don’t hurt

Run until he comes back
