Ice

Used

Of all the things I thought I wanted you wouldn’t have been my first option

When asked if I regretted anything walking away shouldn’t have been one of them

Of all the things I’ve lost, you shouldn’t be the one I want to keep

But there you are, there you always are

In the back of my head, poking at my already fragile mind, chipping away my sanity as if it were ice

Haunting me till the day I die

But oh silly mind, oh you silly foolish mind

To believe he’d ever come back now
