a hawk killed a sparrow

Alex Kay

a hawk killed a sparrow

and onlookers cried out:

"oh so cruel, you sky lord!"

but if that is cruelty

then it is the most beautiful

most wonderful

most meal

of wings flesh bones

and nothing should cry for it.

"sparrow, brother, you were sweet

in my mouth" said the hawk.

Thanks, glad you like it! And yeah, the food chain is a natural thing, so how could it not be beautiful? 😛
