Forgotten

ll2486ll

Here I lie,

Underneath the cold hard earth

Motionless, never to move again

Silent, never to make another sound

Here I lie,

In the darkness

My cold body stiff,

rotting, decaying

Here I lie,

among thousands like me,

listening to the sounds of those who walk above,

laughing, smiling, oblivious

Here I lie,

Forgotten.
