Nonna, Me, and Time

Jane Frye

Seasons come, as seasons go
Never coming to an end
Time is just pretend

You and I will laugh and play
It will always be that way
Though I may leave today
We always have yesterday

My Nonna told me so
The day I tearfully whispered in her ear
"Please don't go"

    Jane,
A little gem of a poem!
    This made me cry!
    I miss my Nonna too!

Thank you so much. Remembering my nonna made me cry too. She was the neatest adult in my life when I was a child. I never got to know her as an adult, I only knew her through a child's eyes.
