The Setting Sun

MrNobody40

You think you can free me
Like these burdens I bear
Can heal
When it's myself that's buried
I sit here in the dark
And I'm still alone
I think
How nice it would be
To just talk to someone
Without feeling intrusive
So many people
Worthless people in this life
How pointless it all is
When at the end of the day
The sun still sets
And the world goes dark again

It's a sad fact of life that even if someone means well, they can sometimes help but they can't usually fix depression or melancholy for someone else. Fight your way through it. Use the help they try to give. They mean well. ( most of them) one of these days you'll wake up and realize that you've made it through the worst of it and things have gotten better.
