Parmesan to cheddar, mature to mild
I’ll love you more than my future child
glistening, baking in the sun
my love for you has just begun
I sprinkle you over my food and fries
but never forgetting to sprinkle my lies
to me, you are the perfect spaghetti
when I see you its like confetti
my heart breaks when you’re gone
but the doctors say I should’ve undergone
self-control, but my love for you is so boastful
but I guess it won't fix my high cholesterol
I whisper in the valleys “I love you cheese”
but now I'm fat and hard to please

- Comment from author about the poem: a poem about my only true love in my life, my one and only. I love him to the end of the world. I just love cheese so much
