I Carved You a Highway

Alex Kay

I carved you a highway out of the wilderness,

watched you run like a wolf,

heard you howl at

the new moon sky.

I carved you a highway in my heart,

watched you run right in

and get lost in my love.

I embrace you forever.

Short and sweet. Very nice drawing between your heart and wilderness.

Thanks! I enjoy the short and sweet pieces, myself. Writing longer pieces is good, and I have some of those, but drawing a picture with just a few lines is ideal, I feel.
