I Could Try

Brie

I lie awake in darkness to think of you,

I could close my eyes but I'd see your face

I could try to erase you, but you can't be erased

You could send me back in time a thousand times again,

And I'd probably do everything the same if it meant I was with you

I could try to forget that I'm hurting now that you're gone,

But it'd only hurt more

And I could try a million things,

But it wouldn't be the same without you

I love this. I can relate to it 100%. I really do wish that we could erase, or erase the memories of the people that hurt us, or left us.
