Nothing but a ruse

CuriousSoul

I fell for you like a child eating candy for the first time.

I smiled and loved you thought I saw truth and happiness. But it was a ruse, a trick.
Surrounded and consumed by darkness your love was nothing but a lie. Tricking me leading me on into a path of deception.
Like an eternal flame it never dies out. Your lies fuel this flame making it stronger and brighter
Blinding people you once cared for and blinding yourself.
Nothing but pitiful and sad. It is becoming so cloudy I can't see beyond your lies anymore. I can't see through your tricks.
Or so you thought I wouldn't see through your lies
for your heart still belongs to another yet mine belongs to only yours.
As yours lies with another you instead lie and deceive your heart. All you do is pretend to love me so you won't shed pain.
So you won't shed sorrow for us both. Now I sit here looking back. Seeing that I was nothing but a fool for believing your love was real.
Your love is nothing but Loki a trickster and a joke. Forgive me my love but I can't go on no further this stops her
