Unfortunate Conclusions

Jane Frye

Unfortunate Conclusions

She loved him from the start,
but she was afraid he'd break her heart.
She said he could never love her, and that she knew, because she was just a small time fool, and he was always so confident and so cool.

So she kept her love a secret inside. A sadness she took with her when she died.

He told me when she walk in the place,
he felt nervous and his heart would race. She owned his heart, right from the start. He said she could never love him, and that he knew, because he was just a small time fool, and she was always so confident and so cool.

He kept his love a secret inside.
A sadness he took with him when he died.
