My Psalm (The Lord Is My Protector)

ForeverJesus7

O Lord, O Lord,

You protect me,

as I go through,

my daily struggles.

You watch over me,

as if I am a precious diamond.

Yet I am but a simple man.

What have I done,

to make you love me so much?

You do not mark me like Cain.

Rather you inscribe,

your words on my heart.

Oh Lord,

when my enemies come pouring in,

it is you who lets,

your angels surround me.

When they throw their insults,

and try to keep me down,

it is you who is my chin rest.

If giving you,

a single praise,

means that you,

will protect me forever.

I will praise you,

for the rest of my days,

forever and ever.
