Lost Self

keast50

Identity Is mine,
but then I lose,
As if lost in a crowd, life seems all too loud.
All consuming I wear people as a shroud,
Identity I lose but then I find
Again and again in my mind
I'm lost but then I'm found
By love, by loneliness I am bound.
To keep myself anchored to the ground
What must I do
to keep me
And still be happy
Have space, share space, keep me,when me becomes we.

When one becomes two

It is me, i seem to lose
Identity is lost,
to me,
maybe I can't be a we,
an us, together.
Maybe I need to be me,
an I forever,
Love or loneliness I must choose
Or are they both the same
Either way identity is frayed
Identity I find
But I ask
Is it mine?
