Breaking Down

Gabriella

I'm breaking down these smothering walls

I'm tired of this fear hovering over me

These tears I shed feel like a third degree burn

I don't need your word of advice just to be nice

A piece of me is starting to let go

I don't want to blow but all these tears are about to flow

I'll show you who I am if you choose to stay

These gray clouds  just won't go away

I begin to stray on a dark path

Shall I begin to pray? Say something anyone

I can't run much longer my breath has been taken

Will this be the death of me? Will you be by my side when I take my last breath?

Come fast before I pass I'm laying in the grass by the river

I hear your calls for help fight like a musketeer

Till your days are as bright as the sun

Don't stop the run the race has just begun

You will be saved by Gods unfailing grace

He will give you peace in the darkest hour

He will shower you in love

Put him above all things

You will be in awe of his power
