I'll Fight

Finley Fire

The whispers all around me have started to fade away,

Because you've shown my heart and mind that you are here to stay,

My mind has been so dark before but now the light shines through,

Showing me that even in the dark there's always a way to breakthrough,

You've given me the chance to live my life just right,

And as long as you're beside me I know just how to fight,

I'll fight away the whispers that tell me to do wrong,

And then I'll come back home to you where I feel like I belong, 

I'll fight away the darkness that seeps into my mind, 

Because you've shown me that some people can be kind,

You've taught me how to love myself and that I do belong,

I don't know how to thank you for showing me something I should have known all along.
