Imperfectly You.

LillyDeRose

As each minute ticked by
Ticked by agonizingly slow
I couldn't help but think of you
Think of your smile
Your imperfect little smile
Yet so perfect to me
Not one minute goes by
Where my memory doesn't flicker back to that imperfect smile
And these memories are painful
Your smoldering eyes leave my stomach in knots
Butterflies fill my stomach when I even hear your name
I'm not sure this is love
But one thing I'm sure of, it's definitely something
Something that will take time to diminish from my heart
Even thinking about it pains me
