Exit stage or continue my play

Yesterday I had to fight my urge
To give it all up and sit on the curb

Wanting to just let the world go by
No letters or door, no possessing thoughts

Life truly is everything you want it to be
I guess right now I'm making it a misery

My inability to respond with empathy in mind
Threats of no credit or taking what they think is mine

It's a sad reality when people are just out for greed
Even worse when back up by governmental legalese

As this morning a gentleman admitted on the phone with me...
What we are doing is legal and by the book, that does not mean it's morally true.

Half of me feels like there is so much more for me to do
The other half say my services are no longer needed you can just watch it unfold
