My insecurities

leostars_poems

My insecurities

I've always had insecurities

That nobody knew about

Although people tell me i shouldn't be insecure

I can't get over it

It's about how i look, how i act

Do people like me? What do they think of me?

I don't want to disappoint anybody

That's why my true feelings mostly don't show

Except from my family, there's only a few people i really trust

Three to be exact, who see my true self

My two best friends

And one woman who i met this year

I hope if they read this

That they know that i'm talking about them

So to those three people

Who have a special place in my heart

Thank you

For letting me be myself
