Love:Rain

Jacob Mead

Love is like the poetic beauty of rain,
it pours and torrents when needed; or stops like a heart in wain.

It is truly amazing how the source of limitless water continues so,
it somehow finds its way through every nook and cranny, even if it is not needed so.

To the average man, one may find rain annoying and impure.
Although, that man's heart has lived through heartbreak and endured.

Unlike some however, one peaceful kind may find rain as the giver of life;
through which it ferments the soil with love to create a wife.

After such rain has stopped and everything has settled down,
it creates a sense of sadness in the hearts of few;
but it may come back in repetition,
to make the heart further slew.
