Live Patiently

Anna Zumvorde

flowers and me,
we are quite alike-you see we both bloom collaboratively,
for we flourish only once conditions are precisely what need be.
listen closely,
for they say "before you pick me, please see we're both quite picky,
so lean into me."
they invite you to see their love of soil rich and supple,
to see shine teeter-tottering with showers,
for there's no dance of rain rejoice with no radiant other.
me and flowers,
we praise the balance & nutrients of our Earth Mother
