A Decision

RavenQueen3155

You made a decision

A decision that broke your life

Everyone you ever knew was ripped from your grip

Ripped from your world of hate and greed

You’re here, alone

You’ve become filled with sorrow

Sorrow for everyone you no longer have

Love seeped from your feet

Until you had none left

Death seeped from below

And wrapped around you

You are crazed

Crazed with the want for what is lost

~~~
It’s a lonely road to travel down
When your life’s all about just what you want
Transfixed on your feeble power
Those who care about you slowly pass away
You choose to ignore the signs
So you live in your own world and everyone leaves
~~~

It’s what you’ve always wanted

And now that you have it

You reject it

You sacrificed your happiness

You sacrificed your love

For power

This life is an optical illusion

To you

Me

And everyone else

But you can’t be free

You made your decision

And it sucked.
