Waterfalls

noelliesplace

A wish come true, but was it really from the heart

Something needed, born from something unwanted

Happiness treads softly on an egg shell rug

Comfortably hiding under a transparent shield

The smile keeps back words doused in expected regret

A love so conflicted for a mind full of conviction

Worry boils with a residue left over from yesterdays waste

Two separate thoughts caged by anothers desire

Before affects the now, how can it not effect tomorrow

Letting go and starting over by holding on

A flickering light puts out a message as moths fall

Sharing the energy of a dam built by many hands

Left alone to find its own way, a waterfall will always bring new life
