Life The Video Game

a potato

Life the video game

Sometimes the levels in the game can be

Too hard to play

So some people just give up

And their game of life ends

Sometimes the levels throw hurdles

And they are too hard to jump

Or swerve

So some people just give up

And their game of life ends

Sometimes the levels are a bit blurry

And too scary

So some people just give up

And their game of life ends

Sometimes the levels are easy peasy

And to good to be true

So some people get bored

And they hack into other peoples games

And they ruin it

And their game of life ends

Depression and anxiety are not

Attention-seeking mind games

Because somewhere

Someplace

Every 16.2 minutes

A person commits suicide

They are turned from human

To a statistic.

Your skin isn't paper
Don't cut it
Your face isn't a mask
So don't cover it
Your size isn't a book
So don’t judge it
Your life isn't a game
So don't end it

such a great poem ! the levels in a game , comparing life to a game ... powerful ending!! so true, life is not a game but i like how you speak of levels of difficulty within this , so true, in life there are many difficulties and hurdles... more so for some ! not everybody gets it so difficult, do they ? some have an easy life.. its a sad thing when life makes you want to end your life.. great message in here
