The Trilogy of The Soarer

Jemini

Part One:

       "Soarer The Choctaw"

The one who soars is there with the breeze through his hair

moving quickly towards their clan.

To hunt he must like the wild wind gust

through the meadows that serve as his temple.

They are gathered there and at the men they stare

who bring nature to banish their hunger.

In his heart it shows that it is he who knows

what it is the gathered thirst for.

The autumn moon rising, summers' blooms in hiding

the setting sun, the day is done

the Soarer sits down for the night.

There they gather to hear the chatter from the Soarer

who searches, for meaning and purpose

so they may experience the light.

The look on their faces when they are in his places

the places he goes when he wants them to know

their spirits will always be welcome.

They begin to see how their souls need to be

and feel the light that burns so bright

deep in the Soarers' spirit.

The Soarer will wonder while the cracks of thunder

are rolling across the sky;

"These beautiful days are like the ones for I prayed.

I have a feeling that after this healing

there will be nowhere for my light to stay.

How will you feel when I am gone?

Will you think of me often?

Am I to become another voice forgotten?"

Part Two:

       "The Guardian"

The sun rose the next day the Soarer wished to pray

he didn't pray like we do today

the Soarer himself searched for spiritual wealth

amongst the life living around them.

There was something missing for an answer he was wishing

an answer in the trees help me if you please

discover that part of me.

The Soarer would walk while nature would talk

he always would listen for that which was missing

help me oh Eagle divine.

Guardians were found in the life all around

each in the clan with spirit in hand

were able with ease to soar on the breeze.

Gazing in the direction he felt the connection

just right over there at the bird he stared

perching proudly across the stream.

With breath so still and a spirit so filled

the Soarer gazed in wonder,

"I have but a wish to share in the bliss

of mysteries that only you keep."

With a movement so slight the Eagle took to flight

with a flap of his wings sending nature to sing

the spirit was by his side.

With his being at ease and his spirit now pleased

the Soarer sensed what was missing.

The answer he knows will continually grow

the great Eagle divine now resting inside

will always be with him.

Part Three:

        "Reunion"

With a new morning sun, a new life had begun

as the Soarer returns to the clan.

The Soarer started his travel, as the mystery began to unravel

and with the light of day, he had lost his way

though he felt the Guardian inside.

He could sense the direction and he could feel the protection

from the gift he had just received.

There were four new suns before his journey was done.

There before his eyes and under the autumn sky

lay the land of his people.

He picked up his pace to search for the place

that the Guardian had just shown him.

With them new people living, from their lands they were driven.

The group was huddled alone just as the spirit had shown

the vision fresh in his memory.

The new ones had gathered their lives torn and tattered

from the ones they can no longer trust.

As he walked through the line with all his doubts behind

he knew he would find the one whose spirit was kind.

Eagle told him so it would be one he would know

a reunion from his past.

There in the crowd as his heart beat aloud

he seen her face that was sculptured with grace.

The one from the mountains her spirit a fountain

there spilling about both mystery and doubt.

Her eyes they shine from the light.
