I have loved you for so long,
and you have loved me.
I know you have.
We have loved each other,
to the point of marriage.
We even decided to marry,
on my birthday.
I would take you to breakfast.
We laughed together.
No one ever kissed,
the way you have kissed.
You loved the way,
I touched your naked body.
You loved it when,
I put my hand on your breast.
You loved it when,
I would kiss you beneath your waste.
The sex was beautiful.
We had done it in every way.
Yet the communication stopped.
You no longer liked,
to laugh with me.
I understand,
it takes two to argue.
Still, we separated,
with the intent,
to move back together.
I moved back to Florida,
and you did not say a sentence,
other than the word's,
'I want a divorce'.
Now you are,
with someone else.
I hope you remain happy.
Nevertheless,
that was six years ago.
Since then I have not had sex.
It is hard not,
to think about it.
Still, I grow as a man,
and take it as,
a learning experience.
However, I will never,
stop loving you.
I WROTE THIS ONE TO MY DAUGHTER WHEN I WAS 7 1/2 MONTHS PREGNANT WITH HER
AS YOUR BIRTH IS DRAWING NEAR,I THINK OF HOW IT WILL BE,
TO HAVE YOU IN MY ARMS,HOLDING YOU CLOSE TO ME.
I CAN FEEL YOU MOVING TO A MORE COMFORTABLE POSITION AS YOU SHIFT,
JUST KNOW THAT YOU ARE GOD'S SWEETEST GIFT.
HE GAVE YOU TO ME,BECAUSE I WANTED YOU SO,
THERE WAS SOMETHING MISSING UNTIL I COULD SEE YOU GROW.
AS MY TUMMY SWELLED,SO DID MY LOVE,
FOR YOU IT WILL ALWAYS BE STRONG,JUST AS IT IS FROM HEAVEN ABOVE.
YOUR NAME IS NELLY JEAN,BUT I WILL ONLY CALL YOU NELLY,
IT IS A NAME OF LOVE THAT YOU HAVE IN MY BELLY.
I HOPE YOU GET HERE SOON,MY ARMS ACHE TO HOLD YOU,
YOU ARE VERY SPECIAL AND MY LOVE WILL ALWAYS SURROUND YOU.
IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS YOU WILL FINALLY BE IN MY ARMS,
CAPTURING MY HEART WITH YOUR INNOCENT CHARM.
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH,MY PRECIOUS BABY NELLY,
UNTIL YOU MAKE YOUR ENTRANCE,YOU'RE SAFELY PROTECTED IN MY SWOLLEN BELLY.
YOU RE MY OWN PERSONAL SUNBEAM,
MY BEAUTIFUL NELLY JEAN.
