- Comment from author about the poem: I see so much negativity among this generation (mainly women) about our appearances - “I’m too fat”, “she’s way prettier than me”, “I hate ..... about myself”. NO. Just stop. We are all beautiful. But outward beauty means nothing if we are foul within. True beauty starts within. There are billions of humans on this earth, but none of them are exactly the same as you. You are the only you on this planet - and that is precious.

I find it ironic that you can get a group of people together and no-one will like everything about themselves. They'll prefer some feature of the others, but those people will prefer traits of the other ones. Everyone wants to trade with everyone else! Looks are shallow and don't last, so we should concentrate on being beautiful inside. Great post! Welcome to MPS!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
It’s so sad to see so many people hate themselves so much! Comparing ourselves to others is never good, we’re always going to find someone “prettier”. We all have our own beauty!
