The Wish

Chalierif

I caught a glimpse of a fragile white wish

as it danced through the air

It went up then down and it swirled all around

Like it never had a care

I had to wonder if it’s power would be squandered

if it’s never let go

It’s finally free to fly and to dream

and all I had to do was blow

I caught a glimpse of the tender white wish

as it navigates it’s freedom

And just like me it danced care free

with only the wind to lead him

And as I stared it flew through the air

not knowing where it would land

That’s when I knew my wish had come true

I’ll go home and you will be there
