You said you loved me.

Antonis

You said you loved me.
You said you loved me from the start, and that we would never part, then you go and break my heart, now my world is crumbling apart.

You said we would always be together, guess nothing good lasts forever.

You walked into my life, I even had dreams one day you would be my wife, guess that's story of my life.

All the dreams we had, my happy smile just turned to sad, as I look back on all the good times we had, maybe on day your children might of called me dad.

But that's the way the story goes like dead petals falling from a dying rose.
What tomorrow brings nobody knows.

You said you loved me.

This is sad but brilliantly written. One of my favourites.
