I have fallen once again.
Skies become grey;
my skin in ashes.
Eyes hollow, lips chapped
a fracture ankle,
a torn off wing.
Blood gushed from open wounds,
running down my pale skin,
conjoining itself to
the ashes of my deficiency.
I rise on my feet.
Sparks fly, amber arise,
the scorching flames ignite.
My skin is now clean.
Radiant eyes, glamorous lips
fracture bone is healed.
Torn wing revived,
sorrow vanquished.
My open wounds
now cease to exist.
Take flight!
Blazing wings burn the night.
Come those with spite;
enemies to target the light.
Challenge me as you wish,
strike me at your will,
witness my descending
while applauding my defeat.
You shall experience my rising;
watch me burn the darkness
as I reclaim the skies.
Your hatred is great
but my passion is greater.
Now, challenge me as you wish;
strike me at your will,
but I will always be
the last one standing.

- Comment from author about the poem: To my dear readers: remember that no one can ever stop you from doing what you most enjoy. Never be afraid of what others may say. You are in charge of your own story. However, you want to write it is your choice. No one else can decide that. I have fallen so many times, but no matter how hurt I am, I will always resurrect from my own ashes and become something powerful. Nothing is more powerful than the human soul on fire. Such flames that represent one's passions and motivations, no darkness could ever engulf it.
