The Peak

asrealastheycome

I consider my life a rollercoaster
Ups and downs, faster and slower
Think I find love, but I barely know her
Think I’m headed forward, on the right track
Only to realize I’ve only doubled back
And this ride, never seems to end
Just when it seems over,
Is really when it begins
Though one day, I know this ride will have to stop
Till then I will always hike for the top
Always search for the peak
What else is there to seek?
Life is just a constant climb
No matter what you look for
Your truest self is the only thing you’ll find
