GOODBYE MY FRIEND

Shayl

We've done a lot of things that we'll never regret

The good ones or the bad ones, moments I'll never forget.

It's hard for me to cheer up, because I'm feeling blue;

By accepting the fact that, my life's never the same without you.

You've been here with me, through my ups and downs;

You'll be willing to walk on by the outskirts of of all towns.

Just to help me get through, my problems all along.

Now that your already gone, I guess I have to stay strong.

I may have not gotten to know you that well,

I felt like I'm really close to you before you died

Now that you are gone,

From all your friends and family,

You've left us grieving over what you would've become,

A nice young man you would've grown up to be,

But all that taken away just like that.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I just lost my friend he was beat to death by someone who used to be his friend I never realized how much I should've gotten to know him but now it's to late to say goodbye. I never even got to say goodbye to him I never realized how much I would miss him now that he's gone. R.I.P BEN EASTMAN
