I'm sorry for all the things I ever did

Emile Dubois

I'm sorry for all the things I ever did
For they were born out of frustration and fear
And in my most unhinged and unaware times, I meant no harm
I never did them to cause you stress
My love was a misguided missile gone astray
There was never any intended target marked
I was just a renegade who had lost touch with myself
I acted out of need and without thought
I'm sorry for all the things I ever did
For they gave me nothing but heartache and pain
Yet life is to experience everything and learn
I learned not to repeat those mistakes
I embraced them in my learning
So here I stand before you with this plea of mine
Let's forget the past and be here now
I'm sorry for all the things I ever did
