Poems they move me like the words I love you from sweet lips
They can be pithy or prolix and make you bewitched.
With emotions and candor you can really relate.
Words have a way to brighten your day.
When your lonely and thinking pick up a pen,
Maybe you’ll be quite the poet my friend!
Make someone happy reading your notion!
Like Thomas said “laugh cry prickle and silence.”
I love poetry it has always been a friend,
And helps me stay humble until the end.
