an apology

Spica

I always knew there was an expiration date but I never thought it would be me who sealed it on. Throats too raw to scream anymore, eyes too dry to cry another tear, both suffocating in words that can never be unsaid. We're submerged in the silence but at the same time, overwhelmed by the echoes of the past. This can’t be undone, and I'm sorry. I guess there’s no saving us now.
