Tiger training

Poetic Dan

Until the tiger learns to speak
The tails of hunting will be weak
No lesson learned or to teach
First tattoo should of shown me this

This beat inside! I live it
To push beyond my limits
No lies would I be spinning
When rhyming feels like heaven
My truth is what I'm selling
No money is the question
Just the gift of your attention

No slums or ghetto to mention
An air pistol still gives a lesson
Power of a weapon an addiction
Paths so smooth with illumination
Gangs waiting in many directions
Head held high to face any music
Can't be worse than drunken alcoholics
Maybe a system that ignored it
Creates a branch called social service

Could be better, aren't the worse case
nothing stopping you going your way
Living by every word that you say
Jump to my first child resetting the stage
This I owe him credit to the inner change
Showing a truth with pass no blame
Second blessing came ready to shine
With all the passion I kept locked inside
Greatful to her passion of not to be shy

My story I tell for no fame or glory
The desire to realise all before me
To see my thoughts even more clearly

  • Comment from author about the poem: I'm hopefully going to find the music that inspired this, I took it as a message to keep telling my story. Wish I could of kept it in the starting rhythm but it's always getting better with ever write.

Yes he's quickly becoming a favourite
He's next song to inspire me is called "take a minute" opening line with, "any man who knows anything, knows he knows not a dam thing at all."
