Untitled

ImogenKennedy

Empty eyes, hard empty hands that never need to touch

A heavy heart caused heavy breath, longing it too much

The breach inside that causes pain, deep within itself

Led to torment, rising from the numbness not yet felt

Radiance flickers to nothing, only dust, despair and ruin

Tasted salt, distorted face, cheerful replaced by sullen

No certainty came forward, untold the reason why?

Melancholy from dashed hopes, the evidence of lies
