Do Not Come On My Account

ForeverJesus7

Of course I want you,
to come see me.
Almost nothing,
would make me happier.
I would love to see your face.
Still, do not come,
on my account.
I am not sure,
how prepared I will be.
Of course I will embrace you,
but I do not have the final say so,
if you could sleep where I stay.
Do not come,
on my account.
There has to be,
a better reason than me.
I would hate to see you stranded,
when the whole point,
was only me to see.
I am not sure,
if I can entertain you.
I would not want your trip,
to be a wasted amount.
I tell you this,
because I care deeply for you.
If you have other reasons,
worth coming then please come,
but do not come,
only on my account.
