A Taste For Eachothers Tears

Edthepoet

What do you remember
From the end of the world?
The colour of the embers
Or the way it smelt
Kind of familiar..
As the skin tingled
On your battle scar

When Did we gain a taste for eachothers tears?
Did we win the race or waste all those years?

"Step right up son, climb right on,
Welcome everyone
to the Armagedon"..now this..this is going to be fun.

What do you remember
From the end of the world?
Not getting to December
Or the way it felt
Kind of familiar..
As the cards shuffled
And you're dealt the Queen of hearts

When did we begin to crave eachothers fears?
Did we win the race or waste another year?

"Step right up son, climb right on,
Welcome everyone
to the Armagedon"..now this..this is going to be fun.
