Gladyss

w c

Gladyss

Gladyss was beautiful all in red

And said he’d be a star

Some day when he had grown

And left his parents’ yard

It was said she was crazy

But he did not know of it

He waited to see her walking by

Flamboyant but mentally fit

She watched and caught the city bus

But he did not know where to

Always dressed her very best

She enjoyed staying on the move

One day he was not there

And she wondered where he’d gone

With his family searching too

But he did not come along

She went to a place that he liked

But did not see him there

He was high in the sky

And was a star God declared
