Welcome to my mind

J james 21

Dark nights got me thinking about the hard times
Tummy rumbling
Mummy's crying on the sofa bc she knows we're struggling
She always done her best
And stayed strong when dad left
I remember sitting by the doorstep
Waiting for him
He couldn't care less
Now he's in my life
It's messing with my mind
I don't know what to do
What do you say
When you're so confused
I want him in my life
But I can't forget the past
Should I give him a chance.

I can also relate in some ways as my parents divorced when I was little.
