Mindfall

nicholas__andreas

Faster than Galactic rotation
We burned a hole in the fabric of night
A shot of sweet syncopation
The Spiral Arm sailed into sight

The memory sensors couldn’t sense a thing
The Universe shifting and changing everything
And in your eyes, dimensions move and sing
Ultraspace and existence inside the circus ring

The Ship moved through a cluster
Of dead, forgotten stars
Embers in a lonely, distant void
The strings on a cold guitar

The archives we recorded, now cannot be read
A falling sheet of plasma in a star so very dead
Where’d you find the code - inside an unmade bed?
Stop using your mind, open your heart instead.
