Strongest Addiction

If I asked the question, “what’s the strongest addiction?”

Some would say it’s alcohol or meth but all of its fiction.

The thing that captivates your mind is not even a drug.

But rather the simplest of things, we call it love.

It’s something you die for,

It’s something you’ll cry for,

Something you’d give all of your life for.

It’ll bring your your highs, and give you your lows,

But it’ll always be worth it, either way it goes. 

Cause love is one of the strongest feelings there are, 

And to find it you don’t have to go that far.

But when you do it’ll be the best thing you know, 

And there will be no limits you wouldn’t go.

So in the world there’s an addiction way up above.

Higher than the rest, and it’s only love.
