Breath

marci

an inhale in the dawn

a fill of an empty lung

the clear gasp of a soft air

the fresh feeling of something new

a spark of light

a growth of green

the spread of vines

the bloom of flowers

a call from the pack

a flourish of life

the lush vastness of the green

the fullness in a booming world

a creep of brown

a lurk of discoloration

the smell of rot

the trail of ash...

a wilt of disgust

a canker of disrepair

the gnaw of decay

the blight of decomposition

a sharp exhale in the dusk

a choke in a dusty throat

the cleanse of a dead world

the hope of a renew
