ME

wordseven7

Humbled and full of His light
Darkness has gone
A child of God through Christ
With Him is were I belong

For my life is no longer mine
Nor is my tongue

What I see through my eyes
And the breath though my lungs
Is the fire that I have inside

To be used by the King for I am His pawn
Reality has been redefine
Doing His will has become my marathon
Preaching the gospel and saving lives

I particularly like the last four lines, even more so the last two. Doing his will can be long and tiring with many roads and turns, but every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to win a perishable wreath, but we do it to win an imperishable one.
    Keep writing.
    Persistence is key
