An Apple For Teacher

An Apple For Teacher

An apple for the teacher may

Make a teacher’s pet some say

And the pet can be happy too

That teacher’s day he’s improved

As teacher’s pet he reads out loud

For the classroom little crowd

And his classmates follow along

With their reading growing strong

There is lunch for them all

And they line up in the halls

And have recess with chocolate milk

For plenty energy to climb a hill

Each afternoon they ride the bus

With their books and artwork stuff

With pictures for their families

To put on their fridge for all to see

And when at dinner the parents ask

What did you do today my lad?

The little one can proudly say

I brought the apple and got to play

      w c ,

      A déjà vu for me!
      I loved those apples...
      and those boys & girls
      were the 🍎🍏of my eye!

      A great poem which
      I very much enjoyed reading!

Thanks so much, Laura. Looking back, I wish I had been the student that brought the apple. I guess that was why i wasn't the teacher's pet!

With or without, all students were the 🍎🍏of my 👁! You would have been too!
