- Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.
- For if they fall, one will lift up their fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!
- Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone?
- And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him - a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

- Comment from author about the poem: This piece taken from Eclessiastes 4:9-12 in the Bible. It was written by arguably the wisest man to ever live, King Solomon. The title basically implies the meaning. Not that long ago I had met someone I consider to be special. As I was thinking of her, these verses had came to my mind. May we continue to grow in the Lord. Persistenice is key
