You are so far away,
and yet consistently on my mind.
How long will it last -
a month, a year, a lifetime?
We are apart,
and yet so close together.
How long will it last,
before our first disagreement?
So I ask questions.
So I want us to last.
She and I are grow close,
as we grow in Lord together.
Yet here I am,
and there she is,
but together here we are.
I think about you all the time
Sitting by the fire drinking wine
Holding each other close hand in hand
You so far way this I cannot stand
Dreaming for the day you come home
House so empty I am alone
So I ask how do I fix my mistakes
Lord help me end this heartache
