Puzzled

Reyas

Life is an 1000 piece puzzle,

You spend your life trying to complete,

Only to find out you’re missing a piece,

Right there in the middle.

This is not the faulty design of life,

But rather the ruthless design of humans,

No matter how many pieces to our puzzles,

We will always be missing that one piece in the middle,

Because we are a greedy creation by nature,

We can be given it all and still want more,

Ask Eve.

We spend our life searching for that piece,

Feeling empty and sad,

Though we never take the time to ask,

What if we just look under the box.

Who knows what you might find?

Great thing about us poets is that we can take another persons words, which describe a delightfully incomplete picture, and create our very own vision of imperfection.
We never need all the pieces in either picture do we? Our lives aren't like that. That would be boring (methinks).

I suppose you’re right, besides no picture is ever truly complete, there’s always something more you can add.
